We are an Independent, Non - Funded Accredited Online school for grades 1-9! This means you can access Alberta Education approved curriculum - without sitting in a desk all day. Our courses are pre-loaded so you can work through the material at your own pace, while still accessing teacher support (in person or virtually) as required. Additionally, we have drop in and hub days available every week from Monday - Thursday. Hands on experiences, guest speakers, excursions (near and far) - most of which is included with tuition!

Additionally, we offer tutoring and resources for all students ages 6 & up. Whether students are enrolled in local schools and are seeking extra help or enhancement material, or students are enrolled in homeschooling and alternate education options - we are here to help! Students can come into our comfortable learning space or access resources online (with a minimum enrolment commitment).
We have a comfortable learning space available with internet and teacher support for students to work on their own schooling, or to drop in after school. Supplemental course material is also available.

Register with us for AB. Ed. approved courses for grades 1-9
We are an Independent Accredited School offering online courses for grades 1-9. Our courses run from September 8 - May 22. Everything is pre-loaded so you can work at your own pace, but have access to teachers, support, and supplemental material as you need - both in person and virtually. Tuition includes online resources and subscriptions, necessary textbooks, unlimited access to hub days featuring local excursions and guest speakers, hands on learning experiences. Some costs may incur for excursions that are longer and further.

1-1 Tutoring & Academic Support
At Rural Roots Academy, we believe every student has a unique way of learning, and that deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated. That's why our drop in space is open to all students, providing a supportive environment to supplement your education. Certified teachers and support staff will help students work through assignments, understand lessons, and offer supplemental material.

Students can book for 1-1 support with one of our many qualified tutors, or our doors are open throughout the day for students to drop in and work. This is open to ALL students - homeschool, alternate learning, public school, our own students - all are welcome!

Hub Days, Hands on Learning, and Excursions
While hub days, hands on learning activities, and most excursions are included in tuition for students enrolled at Rural Roots Academy, we are opening these possibilities up to everyone! Students enrolled in Home Education, Alternative School, Public Schools - these opportunities are open to everyone!
